11,2 m³/d, Mountain chalet, Austria

The Naturfreundehaus Klippitztörlhaus is situated at 1644 metres above sea level and belongs to the Austrian municipality of Bad St. Leonhard. In addition to the breathtaking nature, the house also offers some beds for overnight accommodation, gastronomy and even a sauna.

The Naturfreundehaus already had an biological sewage treatment plant, but it was very old and no longer running smoothly. So they decided to build a new one. A part of the tanks of the old sewage treatment plant was removed and a new 11,2 m³/d KLARO sewage treatment plant was installed by our regional partner with two new round tanks. The installation parts were already installed here before the concrete tanks were inserted.
