1000 PE Stord, Norway
A KLARO 1.000 PE plant works for Norway's largest shipping company, Aker Kvaerner in Stord. Among other things, the world's largest oil platforms were built and equipped here.
The plant, located directly on the shore of the fjord, treats all the wastewater for offices, canteens and the workers' apartments.
The septic tank is rectangular, made of cast-in-place concrete, and protrudes about halfway out of the ground. The biological stage is distributed over two basins, which can be run independently of each other.
