200 PE Hotel Post, Germany
The village of Walchensee with about 600 inhabitants is located at the Walchensee lake. For years, discussions were held about which wastewater treatment option was the best. In the end, the decision was made in favor of the decentralized solution - one of the decisive factors was the clear cost structure of KLARO: every citizen knew from the outset what costs would be incurred.
In addition, the Hotel Post located there had to be "retrofitted". Limited space, seasonally highly fluctuating wastewater volumes and high purification requirements were just some of the challenges facing the system.
The solution: a two-stream system of 100 PE each. An additional dosing technology for P precipitation and a UV module were installed with the machine technology easily accessible in a basement room of the hotel.
