Three plastic tanks were placed behind an existing concrete tank for a winery. Three different types of wastewater are generated by the winepress, the guest room and the residential building. In addition, there are strong fluctuations in the wastewater volume due to the grape harvest and the irregular events (including wine tastings).
The plant was scientifically monitored in the first year of operation as part of a pilot project. This showed that the required strict effluent values are always reliably met by KLARO, even during peak times.
