Project overview:
A dairy plant in France that produces around 4,000 litres of milk from approximately 110 dairy cows every day needed a specially adapted wastewater treatment plant to treat the wastewater produced. Due to the special requirements resulting from milk processing, a solution had to be found to efficiently clean both residual and white water. Conventional wastewater treatment plants usually only treat domestic wastewater, but in this case, the whey also had to be separated from the remaining wastewater.
Solution with KLARO wastewater treatment plants:
- KLARO treatment plant for industrial waste water
- Designed for 388 PE, daily waste water volume of 58 m³.
- An upstream shut-off valve separates whey before it enters the treatment plant. This enables a more compact plant size → Saves space and costs
- The mechanical equipment is installed in an existing container, which protects it from the weather and provides sufficient space.
