The KLARO One UP is a fully biological wastewater treatment plant with proven SBR technology that has been specially developed for above-ground installation. It is ideal for mountainous locations, areas that are difficult to access or mobile applications and offers a space-saving and efficient solution for wastewater treatment.

Single-stage SBR purification process:
Effective wastewater treatment in three steps
1st aeration phase
The raw wastewater is fed directly into the front section of the system and undergoes aerobic treatment. Membrane aerators at the bottom of the tank ensure uniform aeration, while an external air compressor supplies the required compressed air. The intermittent aeration supplies the microorganisms in the activated sludge with the oxygen required to break down the pollutants. At the same time, the sludge is mineralized, which optimizes the cleaning performance and reduces the amount of sludge.
2nd weaning phase
During the 120-minute settling phase, aeration is paused so that the activated sludge can sediment. A sludge layer forms at the bottom, while a clear water zone forms in the upper area. The inflowing raw wastewater is held back in the front area of the plant so as not to disturb the process. This process ensures a clear separation of purified water and sludge.
3. clear water outlet
An air lift at the rear of the system drains some of the clear water from the tank. Thanks to its special design, the pumping of any floating sludge on the clear water layer is reliably prevented. At the same time, an inlet slope minimizes the ingress of activated sludge during the aeration phase. The air lift also ensures that the desired minimum water level in the system is maintained - without any additional components.

Switch cabinets
KLARO's proven control cabinet technology ensures the smooth operation of the KLARO One UP. High-quality Nitto compressors are used thanks to the low volumes of wastewater produced. In addition to the compact design of the system, the PP internal cabinet offers a space-saving solution. Alternatively, the KLARO One UP can also be equipped with a metal inner cabinet or a PP outer cabinet, depending on the requirements and location.

Optional extension modules
If the municipality places particularly high demands on the wastewater values, the KLARO One UP can be equipped with additional expansion modules. As with our other wastewater treatment systems, these modules enable targeted optimization of the treatment performance in order to meet even the strictest specifications.
