Sewage tanks: Flexible solutions for every requirement
Variety in shape and material
The KLARO technology impresses with its flexible adaptability to the geometry and material of the clarifiers. Whether round or rectangular tanks, made of concrete or plastic - the technology works reliably as long as the required minimum volumes and heights are maintained. The volume can be distributed over individual tanks or several chambers.
At KLARO, we provide you with independent, project-related advice. We will show you the advantages and disadvantages of different clarification tanks. This enables you to make the best decision for your requirements.
Do you already have a tank on site? Then let our experts advise you individually.
Concrete clarifiers: stable and versatile
Concrete clarifiers are among the classic and proven variants for the construction of wastewater treatment plants. They are available almost everywhere regionally, offer flexible sizes and chamber layouts and can be adapted to individual project requirements. KLARO works with leading manufacturers of monolithic concrete tanks to ensure the highest quality and durability.
Advantages of concrete tanks
- Robust: High resistance and long service life
- Trafficable: Suitable for locations with heavy vehicle traffic
- Buoyancy-proof: Stable even with high groundwater levels
- Accessible: Easy to inspect and maintain
- Flexible: Adaptable pipe connections and easy installation of the set-up kit
Different construction methods for concrete containers:
Monolithic containers
Made from a single cast, without joints for maximum tightness.

Ring construction method
Individual concrete rings are placed on top of each other on site in the excavation pit and bonded together. Lower weight of the components and therefore easier transportation.

In-situ concrete
Usually large, rectangular containers are formed and concreted on site.

Plastic clarifiers: lightweight, durable and versatile
Plastic tanks are becoming increasingly important not only in the field of rainwater cisterns, but also in wastewater treatment technology. They are ideal for use in both small and large wastewater treatment plants. KLARO relies on the quality and extensive product range of the GRAF Group, a leading manufacturer of plastic tanks.
Advantages of plastic tanks
- Lightweight and easy to transport: Easy to transport and install thanks to their low weight.
- Maximum stability: State-of-the-art production ensures robust and resilient tanks.
- 100% watertight: Reliable tightness and protection against corrosion.
- Durable: Guaranteed for 30 years by the GRAF Group.
- Perfect fit: Optimized pipe connections and manhole design ensure a precise fit.
- Flexible installation: Covers can be infinitely adjusted up to ground level and are sealed up to the top edge of the tank.
