The former Formula 1 circuit Dijon Prenois is still a well-attended race track where the MOTO GP Legend is held annually. This event attracts up to 40,000 visitors. KLARO's engineers devised a solution to collect the extra water and then remove it intermittently in a short period of time.
An additional buffer was added, making the plant smaller overall. On less busy days, it therefore runs just as stably. Previously, a collection pit was used into which all the wastewater ran and had to be regularly removed. This variant represents a high financial burden, which is why the choice fell on a more cost-effective solution. For this purpose, prefabricated rectangular concrete tanks were equipped with KLARO technology.
