The wastewater from breweries is usually heavily contaminated by yeast, hops and spent grains and is heated to over 30°C by the brewing process.
The challenge here is to ensure that the wastewater does not continue to ferment. This is also no problem for the KLARO systems.
In Italy, aKLARO system for 533 PE (79.95 m³/day) was installed in 6 on-site concrete tanks. The mechanical equipment for the 2-stream system was installed in a custom-built machine room on site.
The treatment plant purifies the brewery's domestic and industrial wastewater.
