88 m³/d, hotel, Mauritius
In 2017 a 585 PE ( 88 m³/d ) plant for a beach hotel in Mauritius was commissioned. It is located behind the hotel and all technical parts are safely placed in a separate machine house. To optimize the operation during high and low season periods, the plant was designed in two lines. During low season periods one line can be shut down, which saves energy. The wastewater from the kitchen is pre-cleaned by a grease separator in front of the treatment plant. The gray and black water from the hotel rooms goes directly to the plant to be cleaned. In the final step the purified water is processed by sand filtration and chlorination for irrigation.
